One of my most favorite Green Bay families is keeping me busy for the 4th year in a row!! Each summer since I started my business Marni and Brian ask me photograph a new baby in the body!! EEKKK!! So excited I can't wait to meet this new lil lady Hendricks in fall.  Marni looks absolutely amazing with pregnant with baby number 4 !! McKenna, Maddy and Mia will be the best big sisters ever!

Manitowoc Wisconsin | Brittni & Craig

I met Craig a couple of years ago through his twin sister Denise. He wanted me to photograph his proposal to Brittni! So we came up with a plan and a place . The Buyeske family and I hid and waited for the signal...which never happened! Craig like every guys was nervous so I had to run through sand to get the perfect shot and everything turned out amazing! 

A few months later we scheduled their engagement session and last August they married at Mulberry Lanes Farm http://mulberrylanefarmwi.com .  Their wedding was beautiful, the venue, the flowers, the food, the cute little drawings from Brittni's students placed on each table with a little message about love, and first dance was perfect! 

So when I decided to organize a few style shoots I knew I needed to contact Brittni and Craig to model for me! They're such a fun, easy going and loving couple. I'm so thankful to have met them and their families!

Their Love Story 

From Brittni "I know it sounds so chiché to say that Craig and I fell in love the first time we met. But that is exactly the truth about our relationship. Plain and simple, we were meant for each other. There is one other person a part of our relationship...Karen! She captured our proposal, caught every magical moment our engagement session, followed us down the isle, and a mini session in between. We could not be happier to have such beautiful pictures to decorate our home. Karen is amazing and I can't wait to see our relationship continue to be captured by Karen for years to come"

Madison Wisconsin Couple Engagement | Erin & Casey

Last year we met Erin and Casey and wedding in Manitowoc WI. My husband was envious of Casey's haircut and I mean Erin absolutely gorgeous! So when I decided to plan a styled Wisconsin engagement session, I knew the exact couple that would fit my style and the dress that I wanted!  We had an AMAZING time and I can't wait to style more brides and grooms! Here's a little note from Erin about their love story...

Wedding Details

May 9th we started our 2015 wedding season with our first in Milwaukee WI at Christ Church in Mequon WI and reception at The Black Swan in Grafton. Their wedding was beautiful with a several little touches from family & friends.. Todd's sister made the cake, Shaina's aunt searched many thrift shops for all of the dinner plates, ceremony musician is the bride's cousin, and Shaina decorated the reception hall, plus made her own  bouquets and the boutonnieres with flowers from Trader Joes.  The father/daughter dance is one that I will never forget as both cried like babies, for those that know me.. I cry at every father/daughter dance and this time, everyone watching was also in tears. AND can we talk about the guests!! AMAZING dancers in that group! 

Their Love Story

From the bride -  "Todd and I met when I was complaining to my friend about just wanting to me a normal guy that was great with kids. She had this great idea to introduce me to her boyfriend's cousin. Todd had just moved to the Milwaukee area after having lived in Green Bay for work. So we started dating, but it took awhile for him to decide to move back to Green Bay, but after a job promotion he finally decided to make Green Bay his home . We when we first met we both knew that we were great together. After the kids met him I could NOT have gotten rid of him even if I wanted to. He is a perfect fit to our family.

The proposal was a little different as Todd proposed while we were turkey hunting. Not romantic to most, but it was great for us. He had wanted to take me hunting because it's something he loves doing. So he said something sweet about being able to do the things he loves and he wanted to be with me forever."

Lainee is ONE!!!

Last night I took a little ride to meet Lainee, her dad and mommy! She is the sweetest little thing! She pulled at my auntie heart strings when she walked over to me, asked me to pick her up and later kissed me on my face !!

Swanson | Family

I LOVE a good challenge!! Chase.. was that! None of my photographer or mommy tricks worked! Plus it was cold, windy and he was a little sick. The only thing that made Chase happy was calling his cousin Emma to come to our rescue! In the end we still had fun and Swanson have lots of cute family photos. Happy 3rd Birthday Chase!!! 

Lauren & Joe | Engagement

Yesterday I met Lauren and Joe... Lauren totally made my fashionista heart happy when she wore one of my dresses! Those of you reading this and not clients of mine should know.. I... 1. ALWAYS bring or offer some article of clothing or accessory of my own for almost every session...2. You will probably hear me say " Okay I think we're done, no wait let's try this!! " a THOUSAND times each session...and I did both last night!  I'm so happy to be apart of their wedding day and can't for Oct 3rd.

Owen & Nadia

This weekend I met Owen and Nadia.. two of the nicest! well behaved! respectful! children I have ever met! They kept my three children busy ending spring break with a sleepover! Nadia wanted to play dress up and felt like a princess so we went outside for a few photos.

Florida Click N Chat with Julie Paisley

Last week I traveled to Panama City Beach Florida to take part in a Julie Paisley Photography click n chat and enjoy some sun/beach with my sisters for our first girl getaway. I tried a lot of new things and learned a lot about myself expanding my horizons. Here's my favorites from the click n chat! Next month I travel to Nashville to meet Julie Paisley but this time to learn about shooting film and becoming a hybrid shooter. I love being able to travel and meet all these wondering people.

The Wedding Retreat St. Louis

In March I traveled to St. Louis for a wedding photography retreat host by Ashley & Catherine. We put in some LONG hours starting our days by 9am and sometimes not stopping until 11:30pm. Although their style of photography is different from mine, I decided to attend in hopes of picking up some tips on off camera flash, reception lighting, sparkler exit/writing and things on the paperwork side of owning a business. We didn't get to learn hands on the sparkler portions, but  I did leave with a 250 page book for reference... Here's just a few of my favorites. The best part of this workshop was the rain + off camera flash photos. SOOO fun! Even if we were freezing outside!
