Love Story

Sara and Danny met last year at the beach, Sara walked up to Danny's roommate to pet his puppy but ended up noticing the southern boy with a cute accent and t-shirt with cut off sleeves (his favorite kinda shirt). Sara knew within the first month that she was going to marry that southern boy in uniform! About six months later Sara and Danny found out that they were expecting a baby but a few weeks after Sara suffered a miscarriage leaving her in the hospital for a few day, it was at that point Sara knew Danny would always be there for her.

Rawley Point Wedding

On June 27th I photographed what I would call the perfect wedding at Point Beach State Park! If I could go back and plan my wedding it would be like Sara & Danny's! Very laid back, intimate, non traditional.. just Sara & Danny celebrating their love at the place Danny proposed... with an outdoor family event that was all about the love and not the rushed schedule of garter toss, bouquet toss, grand march. Trust me! I know those events are very important and I love to photograph them but looking back your day should be about mingling, having fun, enjoying family and dancing!! This was also the first wedding we set up the GLITTERY PHOTO BOOTH!!!

Sara is my hairstylist.. I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE her!! She knows how to handle my crazy OCD about the perfect blonde that I need... (no orange) So we've had many chats over the last year about life, love, pregnancy, and babies. I am so happy she asked me to photograph her wedding... and Danny! Well he's a Southern boy from Tennessee who's stationed in Two Rivers at the Coast Guard. He didn't have many..or even any words at their engagement session, but June 27th he knew how to pose, helped posed others, knew exactly how to make Sara laugh for photos, knew where to place his nose for pics!..and also understood no t shirt with cut off sleeves until after their sunset photos :) I am happy to share that Sara & Danny are expecting again!! 20 weeks and I got to feel that baby belly today !!!
