Alli & Michael's Love Story...
"We both knew that this was something special from the start. He literally loves me unconditionally. He makes me a better person and he is my other half. When Michael proposed, obviously I said yes. Unfortunately, I sort of knew it was coming as I had picked out the ring myself and knew where it was “hidden.” I’d check the hiding spot everyday to see if it was still there or if Michael had moved it for the sake of a proposal. We’d always joked about putting the ring in food as that is something we really bond over (specifically tacos and ice cream) and I suppose I had a hunch that he would actually do it. One day, I was sitting on the couch, watching Netflix when he walked out of the bedroom with a bag of peanut butter M&M’s. As those are my favorite, he poured a few in my hand and out popped the ring! I had to ask if he was serious a few times over and finish chewing as PB M&M’s are high on my priority list. I sort of stared at him for a few moments as he smirked and then finally got down on one knee. It was perfect, simple, romantic, and totally us. We aren’t super flashy or fancy people so doing it in the comfort of our 1st home together over a bag of my favorite candy was absolutely perfect.
