I recently met Katy and Nick for their engagement session! They have to coolest guest book! An old truck door that they found at a junk yard. When they showed up to the session in the Honda Civic I must say, I was pretty impressed with how they fit that door into the car.

A couple weeks ago I met Marissa and Ryan for their Milwaukee engagement session. We started at Big Bay Park then drove to the Downtown Milwaukee Riverwalk. I must admit that the urban scene isn't my typical background for sessions, but I really LOVED how this part of the engagement session turned out.

I met Kristin and Stan in Chicago for a quick engagement session. I say quick because nothing seemed to go our way, first my flight was an hour delayed. The park we originally planned to meet closed 8 minutes before we got there. So we walked to a beach where we had to chance dogs from sniffing my luggage. FINALLY that Chicago wind and rain ended our session early. With all the above issues we still had an AMAZING time, you can see the rain clouds over the Michigan Ave buildings. I can't wait to photograph Kristin and Stan's Elkhart Lake Osthoff Resort wedding!

Nineteen months ago George and Angel Mueller lost their son Dillion Mueller to Anaphylaxis after being stung by a bee. Dillion nor his parents were aware that he had any allergies, because they didn't know he had allergies Dillion did not carry an epinephrine (epi) pen. If he would have had an epi pen handy after being stung it could have saved his life. Since Dillion's death his parents have worked to develop a program with the assistance of Dr. Markman and the Wisconsin Department of Public Health to help spread awareness of Anaphylaxis and the need to have Epi pens readily available at businesses.

This was my first time out of the country, what better reason to travel then a Destination Wedding! Our trip started by photographing the rehearsal dinner / bonfire event on the beach at sunset. The wedding, happened to be warmest day while we were in Mexico. Sunny.. no breeze..and nearly 90s degree's. The resort was prepared by serving all the guests Mojitos. More details and photos of this Azul Beach Resort Wedding in Riviera Mexico in this blog post.

The Botanical Gardens and Olde 41 are both one of my favorite places to photograph in Green Bay WI. The Gardens have a MILLION places to stop for bridal party and wedding photos. I LOVE the rustic inside of Olde 41 and those glass lightbulbs that cover the eating and dance area. Add in a beautiful..but chilly fall wedding with black dresses and black suits. <3

We planned a winter engagement session, thinking that hot chocolate with baileys and cute winter set up would be perfect! Except winter hasn't come to Wisconsin..yet. I'm not complaining.. I do not like snow.. freezing temps or winter jackets. So when Samantha told me they were getting married in Mexico during March.. I was like take me! I like warm beaches, in the middle of winter and sipping on Mojitos by the pool! ;)
