Omaha NE Family Photography
Two weeks ago I traveled back to where I grew up...Omaha Nebraska. This is my second year traveling to see a few of my friends from high school and photograph their families. I actually didn't know Cassie in high school, I knew of her.. I mean.. you can't miss a cute little redhead walking around the hallways! Any who! We connected about 4-5 years ago through the wonders of Facebook! Cassie and Drew were my first family this year. We walked around the field chasing light and looking for bugs. The boys were happy to see grasshoppers, spiders and caterpillars.. me not so much! I quickly found a pair of rain boots for my next sessions. They were also my roommates for 3 nights. Little Nate would come downstairs and wake me up every morning.. " Karen.. It's morning time!! You need to wake up! The sun is out! ". He even told me he loved me one morning.. cutest moment of my trip! This year Cassie and I traveled to Missouri and Florida for photography events and in July the Friesen family drove to Wisconsin for their first family vacation! The boys and my 3 kids quickly became close friends for life. I can't wait for next summer for another family vacation!
