About a week before my trip to Omaha Nebraska to reconnect with some high school friends and photograph their families. I decided...at midnight (no joke!) that while I was there I'd like to photograph a styled session. I would love to start booking a couple weddings a year in different states, new venues. I quickly connected with Basic Bash Events Wedding Coordinators and Ready or Knot Omaha Bridal Shop.
Read MoreIn September I traveled to Omaha from my yearly trip to photography family sessions. This year I decided last minute to plan a styled shoot ( you can view that session here). Beverly and Chris graciously agreed to model for me in a beautiful wedding dress and suit. Of course, since they're newly engaged we made sometime for a mini engagement session. Congrats to Beverly and Chris they're seriously an amazingly cute couple! I hope to make my yearly trip back to Omaha more then once a year, and would love to start traveling back for weddings!

Originally the Hill family was suppose to come to Omaha but because of work obligations they couldn't make the trip. It was much easier for me to travel the 2 hrs to St. Joe, so that's what I did! I finally met Chip, Cala and baby Colt!

Read MoreTwo weeks ago I traveled back to where I grew up...Omaha Nebraska. This is my second year traveling to see a few of my friends from high school and photograph their families. The boys were happy to see grasshoppers, spiders and caterpillars.. me not so much! I quickly found a pair of rain boots for my next sessions. They were also my roommates for 3 nights. Little Nate would come downstairs and wake me up every morning.. " Karen.. It's morning time!! You need to wake up! The sun is out! ". He even told me he loved me one morning.. cutest moment of my trip!
Read MoreI've known Tiffany since high school, she helped plan my baby shower when I was pregnant with Cayden, she even baked the cake! Here we are 14 years later, I'm snuggling with Declan and photographing her newborn baby Landon!! Declan, like every new big brother a.k.a not the only child anymore .. needed a little extra time, love and treats :) Tiffany and Luke have known each other since high school and still seriously one the of cutest couples I know!! I can't wait to travel back to Omaha next year and see how this family grows!!
