Beverly and Chris graciously agreed to model for me in a beautiful wedding dress and suit. Of course, since they're newly engaged we made sometime for a mini engagement session. Congrats to Beverly and Chris they're seriously an amazingly cute couple! I hope to make my yearly trip back to Omaha more then once a year, and would love to start traveling back for weddings!

Read MoreI recently met Becky and Billy at her parents house for their engagement session. After chatting with her father a little bit, he told me that was the house he and his wife bought the day after they married and have lived there for 32+ years!! We chatted while watching the deer .. about 8.. walk in the fields across the street (pictures in post). That's why it was so important for Becky to have her engagements photos taken at home. We walked back in Dad's field to check out his newly built deer stand, then walked around the street to watch the deer and picked apples. Billy also picked Becky on the swing she used as a child and finally ended the session with a few pics in front of Dad's newly painted shed door :) I love capturing little moments like this! Can't wait for their Two Rivers WI July wedding!

The tree covered trails came in handy when it started rain right after ceremony! This wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful! The boys were happy to see grasshoppers, spiders and caterpillars.. me not so much! I quickly found a pair of rain boots for my next sessions. They were also my roommates for 3 nights. Little Nate would come downstairs and wake me up every morning.. " Karen.. It's morning time!! You need to wake up! The sun is out! ". Trying to run a growing business and be a full time mommy, was definitely more work then I had anticipated. I want to thank ALL of my clients for being patient with me, plus understanding that as much as I want to shoot/edit 18 hours a day ( honestly I did spend most of my summer doing this). I also have children that need me. So now that I have at least 3 hours a day to myself... I can catch up on my editing!

"Hey what do you think about walking in the waterfall in your prom dress?" She was just as excited as I was. Not only did she walk.. she danced! twirled! AND sat in the water!
